Los Angeles-based disco/R&B group from the 1980's. The name of the group was derived from the different ethnic backgrounds of the members. In the early to mid-1980's they recorded for Solar where they worked with producer Nicholas Caldwell from Whispers on the album 'Do You Like Our Music?' (including the songs Groovin' and 'When You Smile') 'Get In Touch' (1983) and 'Shine The Light' (1985) including 'Romeo Where's Juliet?' (UK Top 50).

Goombay Dance Band is a German band created in 1979 by Oliver Bendt, named after a small bay on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. Their music has a distinctive sound (somewhat similar to Boney M.), which is a mixture of soca, calypso and western pop. The group enjoyed greatest commercial success at the beginning of the 1980s, spawning such number 1 hits as "Sun of Jamaica", "Seven Tears" and "Aloha-Oe, Until We Meet Again". Goombay Dance Band built up a fan base across Europe and proved very popular in South Africa too, where "Sun of Jamaica" and "Aloha-Oe" entered the charts.

Lian Ross (born Josephine Hiebel; December 8, 1962) is a German Hi-NRG/Euro disco singer. She has recorded successful covers such as Sylvester's "Do You Wanna Funk" and Modern Talking's "You're My Heart, You're My Soul." Her original hit songs include, "Say You'll Never", "Fantasy", and "Scratch My Name" among others. A compilation of her hit singles and choice tracks, "The Best of and More" was released in 2005. One of her recent successful hit singles is, "Never Gonna Lose" released on ZYX Records in Germany on December 27, 2005 and her song "Young Hearts Run Free" was released on Blanco y Negro Music in Spain on September 9, 2009.

Sandra Ann Lauer (born 18 May 1962), commonly known under her stage name Sandra and Sandra Cretu, is a German pop singer who enjoyed a mainstream popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s with a string of European hit singles, produced by her then-husband and musical partner, Michael Cretu, most notably "(I'll Never Be) Maria Magdalena" (1985), "In the Heat of the Night" (1985), "Everlasting Love" (1987), "Secret Land" (1988), "Hiroshima" (1990) and "Don't Be Aggressive" (1992). Her albums Into a Secret Land (1988) and Close to Seven (1992) have won Sandra high critical acclaim.

Linda Jo Rizzo is a German singer, songwriter and producer. Originally from the United States, she was a photo model and studied nourishing sciences in New York. There she met Bobby Orlando and participated in his group, The Flirts, from 1983 to 1984. In 1984, Rizzo moved to Germany and started her own music career there.
